The Federalist menus: Dinner at the Federal

Tony and I love venturing out to Durham. I feel like every time I head there, I find a place that I just fall in love with instantly. It’s nice to be pleasantly surprised and eating at the Federal (914 West Main Street, Durham, NC 27701) was no different. When I walked in, I almost walked back out. It looked like a nice bar to hang out at,and I loved the retro beer signs, but I thought it was just a normal bar and grill type setting. “Sorry Tony, it’s just a bar…” but I trailed off when something on the special board caught my eye. Restaurant Week: The Duck and Dumpling

The Duck and DumplingYEA! It’s finally here. Restaurant Week could not have come at a better time, I’ve been sick and down in the dumps, so a chance to have a three-course meal downtown is hard to resist.
